Contemporary Craft Tour

Highlights Contemporary Craft Tour showcases the best of contemporary crafts in stunning rural locations, providing rural communities with access to high-quality craft, only usually accessible in urban areas.  A network of venues and volunteer promoters are supported by Highlights’ curator and exhibition staff to create professional displays of inspiring and stimulating work. 

Highlights Contemporary Craft Tour takes place in May and June over six weekends and has venues in three counties:  Cumbria, Co. Durham and Northumberland.  Exhibiting artists are present to demonstrate and talk to visitors about their work and an extensive education programme is offered to local schools and communities prior to and in support of the exhibition.
